The Bosnian language
The Bosnian language is mainly based on Latin. It is the western variant of Štokavisch, a Serbo-Croat dialect group. The Serbian, Croatian, and Bosnian languages are very similar, with few noticeable differences, although the Bosnian language contains many Arabic, Ottoman Turkish, and Persian loanwords. After the civil war in the nineties, national identities and their accompanying languages became very important. Some consider the languages to be nothing more than different dialects of the one language because they are so similar, but for the inhabitants themselves, the differences are very noticeable, and people attach a great deal of importance to their own language. Therefore it is important to choose the right language for your purposes. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask one of our knowledgeable project managers for advice.
